Welcome
MKVEG is a local group affiliated to various national vegetarian, vegan and animal protection organisations. We help to spread our message by running regular stalls in support of national campaigns and to provide information for a healthy diet. We hold street collections in shopping centres throughout the region for the benefit of organisations we support . Click on our links below for a schedule of our activities.
MKVEG has stopped holding its monthly meetings otherwise continues with its diary of campaigning and fundraising. If you are interested in assisting on our campaigning stalls and with our street collections please contact Peter.
For a great place to eat MKVEG recommends Veggie World at 150-152 Queensway Bletchley, open Wednesday to Saturday, lunch-times and evenings.

Street Collections
Feedback on the Street Collections in the region and forthcoming diary dates:
-
27 April - Lab Animal Week (NAVS), Outside theCentre:MK - there were only a couple of collectors for an hour each so, we were not expecting a large sum. We raised £18.40 for the National Anti-Vivisection Society
-
4 May - Animal Aid, Luton (The Mall Shopping Centre) - there were six collectors at various times from 9am until 4.30pm which was great. Everyone did their utmost for which Animal Aid are very grateful and we raised a tremendous sum of £304.60, the highest at this venue.
- 18 May - Animal Aid, Stony Stratford (High Street)
- 1 June - Animal Aid, Buckingham (Outside Waitrose)
- 8 June - Animal Aid, Dunstable (Inside The Quadrant)
- 22 June - Animal Aid, Towcester (Town Centre adjacent to A5)
- 29 June - Animal Aid, Newport Pagnell (outside Natural Lifestyles Health Store)
